Cancer Essentials Claim

If you need to make, we understand it will be a difficult and worrying time for you. We will take great care in helping you through the process.

Your or your representatives can register the claim by either email or letter. To help everyone understand what will be needed and to assist us in managing the claim as quickly as possible, our process is detailed below:

Please provide us with the following information when registering the claim:

  • The full name of the person claiming

  • Date of diagnosis

  • Type of diagnosed cancer

  • Policy number (don’t worry if you don’t have it)

  • Your preferred contact details

About the claims process

Step 2 - We will register the claim and notify the insurer, who will ask for the completion of a claim form and may also request other information about your illness in order to support your claim.

Step 3 – It’s important that you give us as much information as you can as insufficient may delay/reject of a payment withheld until the information requested is received.

Step 4 - If the insurer turns down a claim, and you do not agree, you can an appeal this decision.  You will be given the contact details for the Financial Ombudsman Service, who will determine the right outcome.
